“Martin has played a huge part in the growth of Raydar and his fine work is evident throughout NZ’s retail landscape,” said Raydar md Darryl McClay. “Everyone here wishes him the very best for his next step and are greatly appreciative of his contribution to Raydar, and the success of many campaigns for our clients’ brands over the years.
“On a personal note, Martin’s a great guy and a talented man.”
The agency will review the CD role in “a couple of months”, McClay says. “But first we want to bed in our rejigged team,” which now includes senior art director Aaron Taylor, who has accepted a permanent role after working with Raydar as a freelancer for the last three months. Taylor began his career at Grey Auckland and has 15 years’ agency experience in Auckland, London & Europe.
He has now returned with his family to NZ.
“Aaron offers a fresh approach to our clients’ brands and we are thrilled to have someone of his calibre ready to step in with Martin’s departure,” McClay says.
