Top Australian director Steve Rogers collaborated with top Kiwi DOP John Toon to shoot Staying Up, a 90sec transtasman TVC for Revolver and DDB Group NZ celebrating McDonald’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympics.

The ad’s understated style aims to humanise the stress of living Downunder and having to watch the London Olympics through the night, as seen through the eyes of a young boy and his dad.
