President Obama’s former social media guru Alec Ross will headine the PROJECT [r]evolution Conference at AUT University on Thursday 30 August 30 and Friday 31 August.
The conference will feature world-renowned social media strategists such as Ross (the brains behind President Obama’s SM election campaign, now innovation advisor for US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton), Mashable editorial head Emily Banks and Google’s global ambassador Michael T Jones plus a host of experts from the business, media and academic worlds.
With sessions spread over the two days, participants will explore topics on a conceptual, inspirational and practical level, as well as hear from leading academics and media pundits on critical issues and current trends.
Business, government and academic speakers include ReadWriteWeb founder Richard McManus, Professor Jim Macnamara (University of Sydney, former company founder/director), Professor Graham Murdock (Loughborough University, renowned media analyst), Christopher Barger of Voce (formerly with GM and IBM) and Dan Neely (Wellington Emergency Management Office).
