Worldwide Olympics partner Procter & Gamble has launched the latest spot in its Thank You Mom series. It’s called Kids and Starcom NZ account director Megan James confirms the TVC will premiere simultaneously across the world (including TVNZ, TV3, Sky & Prime) during the opening ceremony at the London Olympics on Friday 27 July. An online version is already in circulation.

The ad we’re screening on our website is labelled ‘NZ & Australian version’ – but it’s identical to the global ad (which we’ve also seen) except for the P&G NZ & Australia credit right at the end.

It’s a rather cool ad – starts out real cheesy, but redeems itself mightily in the last frame.
