NZ Lotteries has made a number of new appointments to its marketing team. Val Green has been appointed as the new general manager of marketing. She was previously marketing director for House of Travel from 2008 to 2012. Before that, she spent eight years in senior consumer marketing and management positions at Telecom and several years in market research, including running her own business. She join NZ Lotteries on September 3.
And Robert Saunders has joined NZ Lotteries as Instant Kiwi marketing manager. He has 10 years marketing experience at Cadbury, Goodman Fielder and Nestle.
NZ Lotteries has also made internal appointments within its team, with Kirsty Phillips, previously Instant Kiwi marketing manager, now taking on the role of Large Jackpot Games senior marketing manager, with responsibility for managing the Lotto and Big Wednesday brands.
Justin Powell has been appointed to the newly-created position of Daily Games & New Product Development marketing manager, managing the Bullseye and Keno brands, as well as new game development.
Leaving NZ Lotteries is head of marketing Wendy Rayner, Marketer of the Year in 2011.
